A New Project Site
For the last two years I have been gathering sketches like stones on a religious basis—every Sunday after downing a cup of coffee—the day open before me—I take out the sketchbook, a #2H pencil, a sundry of pens, flip to a blank page and proceed to draw, formulate the ideas which beat about my head like moths against a light.
Sometimes the drawings merely exist as small doodles, or appear as images of objects set on my desk. Regardless, whatever form they take, sketches help construct the foundation of a larger idea—

But these are statements of the obvious.
There is a need to look beyond the physical:
Sketching translates to an act of meditation, connecting with the creative energy in the head, daydreaming on paper, the hand motioning with rhythmic ebbs and flows,
you are talking to the inner self almost reassuring with emphatic gestures—drowning in scratch marks |

Currently in progress, my
sketchbook appears online:

the idea unfolds as you become the drawing, the energy of the pen motions across paper, the ink sometimes smudging across the arch of your hand, the fingers cramping,
peeling back thin layers, seeking the core of an Idea, only to discover under the leathery exterior exists multitudes of sweet-sour seeds,
a single thought composed of multiple ideas; the collective unconsciousness of humanity shown not as one volume of possibilities but a infinite library of resources— |
