day 209 || a time to cast away stones
Sorting out ideas on a photo walk this morning. Light fog and misty rain. Breath smoked in front of me as I walked finding new approaches, new illustrative concepts.
Wanted to capture every step along the way through the damp dirt road: the neighboring fields glowed a soft golden light with steel-blue shadows. Tall grass on the path displayed a steady, dullish, yellow ochre.
After half an hour, discovered a copse of trees, about 15 of them huddled in a large circle, surrounded by weeds and mulitple burn-piles. The coven of trees stood with arched branches acting as doorway, roof and walls.
When I returned to the apartment found my jeans covered in brambles and seeds.
