The image on the right is a pyramid capstone from the reign of Pharaoh Amunemhet III, 12th dynasty. The hieroglyphic inscription would never been seen by human eyes; its sacred magic would only be visible to the gods themseles from atop the uppermost section of the pyramid. In this case, just below the symbol for Horus, the out stretched wings, the glyphs read: "May he be given eternal life"—and then below this is displayed the full name of the king—with all his titles.

To the left is the emblem etched in the back of every one U.S. dollar bill. The pyramid is shown with thirteen levels, the base containing roman numerals for 1776. The latin phrase on the scroll: Novus Ordo Seclorum translates to: New Order for the Ages. The pyramid capstone shines with the eye of the Divine. The latine phrase above the eye "Annuit Coeptis" translates to: God has favored our undertaking.
